Why hourly price lies.

Every rental marketplace shows you one number: dollars per hour. But you don't buy hours because you want hours — you buy them to finish work. And two GPUs holding the same hourly price can finish very different amounts of it.

GPUDeck measures it nightly on a real production render fleet and publishes the result as cost per 1,000 completed renders — the licensed hourly price divided by what an occupied hour actually finished. One real, dated cell from the value board (the live board rolls daily; this pair is from its 2026-08-24 window, regenerable from the archive):
